- Formerly an 18,000 square foot Community Center, the Apollo Recreation Center came to life with a renovation of the existing structure and a new 22,000 square foot addition
- The Appolo Recreation Center now houses an aerobic studio, fitness center and additional gymnasium
- The new concrete block and brick structure was made to blend with the existing precast building
- This new addition and facade combined old with the new, transforming the entire community center into a building which gives the appearance of having been newly constructed
