- New 70,000 square foot indoor recreational facility
- Construction took place around two indoor skating rinks, the main challenge posed in completing this project was continued operation of the pre-scheduled recreational activity without disruption
- HBC’s experience and sensitivity to such concerns allowed for smooth uninterrupted figure skating championships, hockey league practices and public skating hours
- As a result of the Leisure Center’s tremendous success, HBC has since built additional facilities for the district; Oakton Community Center and Devonshire Community Center
