Project

Medinah Country Club

The Medinah Country Club is recognized as one of the premier golf courses in Chicago’s western suburbs. This project was a massive undertaking involving the complete renovation of the existing clubhouse. Originally constructed in 1924, the clubhouse was overdue for a complete makeover and replacement of major systems.

Henry Bros Co.’s work involved a complete historical renovation of the common areas, including mechanical upgrades, remodeling of the men’s and women’s locker room facilities, and adding to/remodeling administrative offices and rooms. We built a completely new kitchen, added new elevators, and performed minor site work, all while the pro shop and all “out” buildings remained open to the membership.

This 110,000 S.F. project was unique in that while creating a new appearance for the clubhouse, the character and integrity of Medinah Country Club remained intact which was of utmost importance to the membership. The clubhouse reopened on schedule exactly one year to the day after it closed for construction.
