Mendota High School
The horizon of the rural Illinois community of Mendota was dramatically altered by the construction of this new $20 million, 144,000 S.F. high school. Situated on 54 acres of former cornfields, the sprawling one-story masonry, and pre-cast concrete facility features two gymnasiums, an academic wing, and a 550-seat theater/auditorium.
A distinguishing architectural feature of the school is the “gable-design” upper roof treatment.
