Project

Niles West High School Renovation

Henry Bros. Co. completed an $8,935,000 renovation of 63,500 S.F. of science classroom space and locker rooms at Niles West High School. The school, built in 1959, serves approximately 2,500 students. The extensive work, from demolition to completion, was done during summer break, and the spaces were fully ready when students returned to school for the new academic year.

The original science classrooms were completely revamped with new counters, sinks, updated fixtures, and storage space. New student work tables replaced individual desks. Enhanced safety features include an eyewash and shower station for potential emergency situations.

The original locker rooms were completely gutted to make way for new flooring, new wider lockers, and new benches in the common areas between locker sections. The showers and bathrooms were completely redone as well and updated with new floors and fixtures. Upgraded lighting was added throughout the space.
