SACRED Apartments

This new five-story building will have 81 affordable units ranging in size from studios to four-bedroom options. The ground floor will feature 6,000 S.F. of retail space and select supportive services. There will be surface parking for 44 cars and a fully landscaped exterior garden space.

Located at 9212 South Burley Avenue, SACRED (Sustainable Affordable Commercial Real Estate Development) is being touted as a catalyst for the revitalization of South Chicago.

The development is a partnership between the Interfaith Housing Development Corporation (IHDC) and the Claretian Associates. IHDC will be manage the property, while the Claretian Associates and Villa Guadalupe Senior Services will provide onsite resident services.

This project was funded with a variety of capital sources including IHDA tax credits.
