Last week, Henry Bros. Co. joined local officials, residents, the developer, and the architect to celebrate the grand opening of Fox Hill Senior Living — a new 48-unit apartment community offering high-quality, affordable housing for seniors in Yorkville, Illinois.
The newly completed three-story, 49,816-square-foot building was developed by Northpointe Development Corp. and designed by Knothe & Bruce Architects. It features a mix of thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom units, along with a wide range of amenities including a community room, fitness center, outdoor patio with gas grills, and a bocce ball court. There is an on-site management office, and 96 surface parking space. The project was funded with a variety of capital sources including IHDA tax credits, Old National Bank, and others.
Several new residents attended the celebration, along with Yorkville Mayor John Purcell; Jake Victor of Northpointe Development Corp.; Bob Feller of Knothe & Bruce Architects; Lane Manning of DreamLane Real Estate; a representative from ACC Management Group; and other project partners. Henry Bros. Co. was represented by Owner and President Bill Callaghan, Jr.; Project Manager Aaron Reilly; Superintendent Jim Brengman; Estimator Mike Godek; Vice President Tom O’Brien; and Project Coordinator Marcy Johnson.
Fox Hill Senior Living marks the second collaboration between Henry Bros. Co. and Northpointe Development Corp. Earlier this year, the team celebrated the grand opening of Greenhaven Apartments in Palatine. A third project, Taylor Place Apartments in McHenry, is on track for completion by the end of October.
