Henry Bros. Co. recently completed the construction of a new bus barn for Laraway School District 70C in Joliet. The 20,000 S.F. structure features 19 bus bays, a wash bay, and storage space. The bays are equipped with infrared heating to keep the facility above freezing in winter. A CO2 exhaust system keeps the bays safe from fumes.

The building also has offices for the transportation and maintenance directors, a meeting area for safety talks and training, a maintenance workshop, and staff bathrooms. Legat Architects designed the project.
