Antioch Public Library Renovation

Henry Bros. Co. completed a phased renovation and expansion project of the Antioch Public Library.

The library now boasts 40,000 square feet of interactive, collaborative, and solitary spaces for people of all ages. There are several reading/study rooms, reading nooks, inviting seating areas, and sections dedicated to children and teenagers. The redesigned space features high-tech amenities including touch-screen controls, LED lighting, and numerous monitors.  Light fixtures, wall accents, and ceiling décor double as sound baffling to mitigate noise.

The project’s first phase included an addition to the first floor and basement along with a complete renovation of the basement and the east half of the first-floor space. The second phase included the renovation of the west side of the building’s first floor. New signage and landscaping will be the final touches.
