Carefree Village Senior Living

Carefree Village is a new three-story senior living apartment building under construction in Oak Forest, IL. It will feature 42 one-bedroom and 13 two-bedroom units. First-floor common spaces will include  an elegant lobby and an on-site management office, as well as indoor resident parking.

The ground floor will consist of non-combustible concrete, precast concrete and steel with “dry” fire protection system for the indoor parking and common spaces. The second and third floors will be wood-framed with a sprinkler system.

Henry Bros. was involved from the early design phases, (and extended pre-development phase) providing comprehensive preconstruction services for the owner and A/E team to ensure prudent, well-informed decisions, and optimal alignment of the design and construction cost.

This project was funded with a variety of capital sources including IHDA tax credits.
