Franciscan Village Skilled Nursing

Henry Bros. Co. completed Phase IV improvements to Mother Theresa Home, the skilled nursing facility of Franciscan Village, a continuing care retirement community. All 87 patient rooms in the three-story facility were completely renovated. The 50,568 S.F. project was scheduled in phases, ensuring uninterrupted patient care, and minimal disruption from construction noise and debris.

The main entry and canopy structure, offices, spa and toilet rooms, and other common area improvements were completed for this phase. Also, a new elevator was added to the building, requiring careful demolition and framing on each floor.

HBCo previously completed Phase I renovations to the Mother Theresa Home, and Phase III common area renovations in the independent living apartment facility. Work included renovated corridors outside of the apartments with new ceiling, wall, and floor finishes, new lighting, new hand, and chair rails, an expanded fitness area, a new billiards/game room, an updated bistro, an expanded main entrance, and updated dining rooms.
