Project

Hope Manor Village

Hope Manor Village, developed by VOA Illinois and designed by WJW Architects, will consist of two, three-story wood frame apartment buildings each with a mix of 22 two-bedroom units and two one-bedroom units. The units will have kitchen appliances and forced-air heating and air conditioning as well as be cable ready and wired for internet access. A single-story community building will provide residents with many resources including computer and library access, and be available for events and activities. A large playground also will be on the premises along with surface parking for 54 vehicles.

This multi-unit complex will provide long-term, supportive housing for women recovering from substance abuse and addiction, particularly those who are parents or are caring for young children.

The overall design will be a campus-style community that combines housing with supportive services including counseling, case management, parent support, youth enrichment programs, employment services, and peer support.
