Laraway Transportation Center

Henry Bros. Co. built a new 20,000 S.F. bus barn for Laraway School District 70C.

The masonry building features 19 bus bays, a wash bay, and equipment storage. The bays are equipped with infrared heating to keep the facility above freezing and the buses warm. A CO2 exhaust system keeps the bays safe from fumes.

The building also has offices for the transportation and maintenance directors, a meeting area for safety talks and training, a maintenance workshop, and staff bathrooms.

The new bus barn is adjacent to Laraway Elementary School, also built by Henry Bros. Co.
