Nowell Park Recreation Center

Henry Bro. Co. constructed Nowell Park Recreation Center, a 30,000 S.F. field house that features a gym with basketball and volleyball courts, an indoor walking track, four multi-purpose rooms, a preschool classroom, and a fitness center with cardio and strength-training equipment. Interior and exterior glass walls provide a unique open concept, while comfortable seating areas complement the many activity areas.

Henry Bros. Co. served as the District’s CM providing preconstruction services which included budgeting, value engineering, and input to ensure optimal project controls relating to cost, schedule, and quality.

The Nowell Park project represents HBCo’s long-term relationship with the Joliet Park District which began when we completed an expansion for the Inwood Athletic Club.
