Ribbon Cutting Officially Opens Kenzie Senior Residences

Henry Bros. Co. joined in the October 21 ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of Kenzie Senior Residences in Mount Prospect, IL. The event was hosted by the Perlmark Housing Group, developer of the now fully-occupied building. Others present at the ribbon cutter included local dignitaries, government officials, and others who were instrumental in designing, building, and securing financing for the 74-unit, 68,700 S.F., three-story building.

Jim Perlman, founder, president, and CEO of Perlmark Housing Group thanked those involved in bringing this development to fruition. Additional speakers included President of the Cook County Board of Commissioners Toni Preckwinkle, Mount Prospect Mayor-Elect Paul Hoefert, Cook County Commissioner, 9th District, Peter Silvestri,  IHDA (Illinois Development Housing Authority) representative Kristen Faust, Mount Prospect Director of Community Development Bill Cooney, Bank of America Senior Vice President Brian Hanrahan, and Redstone Financial Group representatives Chris Nash and Scott Endress.

Henry Bros. Co. was involved from the earliest design phases providing preconstruction services for the owner and architect FitzGerald Associates to help facilitate critical development decisions.
