Henry Bros. Co. joined General Capital Group (GenCap), Hooker DeJong Architects, and State of Illinois and Village of Wheeling officials to celebrate the grand opening of the Union Apartments in Wheeling this week. The 70,228 square-foot, four-story, metal-framed structure features 53 units in one-, two-, and three-bedroom options. These apartments are targeted as quality, affordable, workforce housing. Abundant community space includes a WIFI café, movie theatre, and a fitness center. There is parking for 120 vehicles.

Among those participating in the groundbreaking from Henry Bros. Co. were Tom O’Brien, Vice President for Project Development; John Tondelli, Project Manager; and Jim Brengman, Superintendent.
