George W. Ferrell
Co-Owner
Mr. Ferrell has been in the construction industry for 48 years, all of which have been with Henry Bros. Co. Mr. Ferrell began his career with Henry Bros. Co. in the estimating department. After two years of military service he returned to Henry Bros. Co. and took over project management duties as well. Mr. Ferrell became President of Henry Bros. Co. in 1987 and is a managing member of Henry Bros. Construction Management Services, L.L.C.



 
William H. Callaghan
Co-Owner
Mr. Callaghan has been in the construction industry for over 40 years, all of which have been with Henry Bros. Co. Mr. Callaghan graduated from Loras College in 1974, with a Business Administration degree. Upon graduation, he began working full-time as a carpenter, working his way up to job site Superintendent. Mr. Callaghan became Executive Vice President of Henry Bros. Co. in 1987 and is a managing member of Henry Bros. Construction Management Services, L.L.C.


 
Scott Medows
Chief Estimator
Scott’s professional career spans 35 years in the construction industry. He has served as director of pre-construction and senior estimator for various construction companies. His project experience includes extensive senior and multi-family housing developments, and an abundance of hospital and medical center work. Other project experience includes office buildings, warehouses, zoo exhibits, and strip malls. Scott is adept at creative thinking and finding competitive advantages. He develops extremely workable budgets, which over the years have generated substantial savings to clients. Scott has cultivated and maintains many strong working relationships with architects and sub-contractors. He will work with clients to develop comprehensive budgets that maintain cost expectations, and respect design integrity. He is also involved in “hard” bidding projects that range in size and complexity.

Stan Jagielski
Senior Vice President / Project Management
Mr. Jagielski's professional career spans over 50 years in the construction industry. He began his career with Henry Bros. Co. in 1992 as a Senior Project Manager and in 1998 was named the Vice President of Project Management. In his six years as Senior Project Manager, Mr. Jagielski was instrumental in Henry Bros. Co. being recognized as a leader in the development of the Construction Management approach to school construction. Mr. Jagielski received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1976 from Elmhurst College.


 
Mike Concannon
Senior Vice President / Field Operations
Mr. Concannon's professional career spans over 50 years in the construction industry. He began his career with Henry Bros. Co. in 1972 as a carpenter. Mr. Concannon was quickly promoted to Superintendent in 1975. He became the General Superintendent, in charge of all superintendents, in 1990. In 1995, after 23 years of service, Mr. Concannon was named Vice President/Field Operations of Henry Bros. Co. He is also our corporate Safety Officer and is ultimately responsible for the safety of all our projects.


 
Marc Deneau
Vice President / Business Development
Mr. Deneau has 30 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. He began his career with Henry Bros. Co. as Director of Business Development in 1997 and, in 2005, was named Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Deneau leads the company's efforts in expanding existing business relationships by developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing and new client relationships that sustain the future growth of the company. He also identifies business trends and directions to align the company for current and future markets and realistic business opportunities. Mr. Deneau received his Bachelors of Business Administration in 1978 from the University of Cincinnati.
   
Tom O'Brien
Vice President / Project Development
Mr. O’Brien’s professional career spans over 35 years and includes extensive field, project management, estimating, and business development experience. His articles offering advice on the topics of integrated project delivery and assisted living have been published in various industry magazines. He joined Henry Bros. Co. in 2009 as a Vice President in Business Development. He focuses on identifying opportunities with new and existing clients to help sustain the firm’s growth. Working as a collaborative partner, he offers a unique level of service in leveraging the firm’s in-depth preconstruction / construction expertise and guidance, when clients and architects need it most, to ensure enhanced control over project cost, schedule, and other critical factors. Mr. O’Brien has an MBA in Management & Organizational Behavior from George Williams College in 1983 and a BA from Elmhurst College in 1980.

Bob Nielsen
Vice President/Operations
Mr. Nielsen has responsibility for operations of field supervision and resources, and project management. He began his career with Henry Bros. Co. as a Project Manager in 2000 with ten plus years’ experience in the construction industry. In that role, Mr. Nielsen tackled projects of increasing scope and complexity, embraced new technologies in work processes, and sought innovative solutions to construction problems. He has an extensive construction background in both field and management, excellent communication and organization skills, and is client focused. Mr. Nielsen received his BS in Business Management from Western Illinois University.
