Improvement Project for Mokena Schools

Henry Bros. Co. was selected to participate in a multi-million dollar improvement project for the Mokena School District. The project design was twofold and consisted of building a new elementary school addition between two existing buildings and an addition to the existing junior high school nearby. These two very different projects took place simultaneously and during the school year.

The 75,000 S.F. project features:

• An enrichment learning center with library and computer room areas
• Two gymnasiums
• A large commons area functioning as both a lunchroom and community center
• Administration areas including the district offices and all normal public and support facilities
