Our Lady Woods Finnegan Center

Building churches and church-related facilities in the Chicagoland area was a regular practice for Henry Bros. Co., particularly in its early days. A more recent project was the addition of the Finnegan Center to Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church in suburban Orland Park.

Initially considered “undoable” within their budget, the final 23,000 S.F. addition and 12,800 S.F. buildout yielded more than ever expected. Completed in just seven months after the groundbreaking, the aesthetically compatible addition includes a beautiful new gymnasium featuring a maple wood floor, electrically operated bleachers, six remote-controlled backstops, and a state-of-the-art sound system. Other features include classrooms with VCT or carpeted floors, ceramic tile toilet rooms, handicap-accessible shower/locker facilities, and a fully operable kitchen.
