South Elgin Middle School
This 143,000 S.F. middle school features many unique design elements. Perhaps most notable is the prominent three-story clock tower main entrance. Another unique feature is the landscaped inner courtyard which has a distinct comma shape formed by the surrounding two-story masonry construction layout. Inside the school, the serpentine main hallway soffit creates another visual aesthetic.
The school is situated in a wooded area further enhancing its design.
