Fox River Grove Schools

Henry Bros. Co. managed several major projects at two schools in Fox River Grove SD 3. This included a 2,000 S.F. addition to Algonquin Road Elementary School and extensive alterations to both Algonquin Road Elementary and Fox River Grove Middle School.

Interior alterations were made to gymnasiums, kitchens, libraries, and locker rooms. This included demolition and reconstruction of walls, ceilings, and floors as well as upgraded lighting, MEP systems, roof repairs, and window and door replacements and repairs. The Algonquin Road School addition featured metal panels and Trespa, a high-pressure laminate used for exterior cladding and decorative facades.

The COVID shutdown had an impact on getting materials in time and finding workers to complete the project. In the end, HBCo was able to complete work at both schools on time.
