Flossmoor School District Updates Four Schools

Henry Bros. Co. completed extensive work on four elementary schools in Flossmoor School District 161 over one summer. The schools included Flossmoor Hills, Western Avenue, Heather Hills, and Serena Hills. The libraries at each school were divided to create STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) lab classrooms.

Two new roof-mounted chillers were added to both the Flossmoor Hills and Western Avenue schools. A new chilled water piping and pump system was added to Flossmoor Hills, and a complete cooling system and backup generator were added at Western Avenue.

Though the COVID shutdown created a delay in getting mechanical equipment to the schools, we were able to complete all projects at all four of the schools on time.
