Grace Point Place, Anthem Oak Lawn
Grace Point Place is a new, $10 million, two-story memory care facility in Oak Lawn designed to accommodate the specific considerations of those afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease. The 68-unit facility offers a mix of private and companion rooms, a central common area with a kitchen, spa, and an indoor walking path.
Before construction began, the site had to be cleared of an existing building, and three storage tanks, two underground and one above ground. Over 600 geopiers were used to address unsuitable soil conditions.
The facility is in a predominantly residential neighborhood which required that extra measures be taken to reduce noise, debris, and traffic disruptions.
